Tommy’s Express Wheaton Celebrates Grand Opening
WHEATON, Ill.— Tommy’s Express® Car Wash at 2101 N. Gary Ave. celebrated its grand opening Friday, Apr. 17, through Sunday, Apr. 19, with three days of food trucks, giveaways, games, and charitable giving. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Mayor and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce kicked things off Friday afternoon.
$1 from every wash went to a local nonprofit all weekend long. Each day featured a different partner — West Suburban Foundation for Disabled Veterans on Friday, Cosley Zoo on Saturday, and People’s Resource Center on Sunday.
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
The community joined the team on Friday, Apr. 17, at 3:30 p.m. for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Mayor of Wheaton and representatives from the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce. Community members, media, and local leaders were all in attendance.

Friday, Apr. 17 — Nonprofit: West Suburban Foundation for Disabled Veterans 9–11 a.m.: I Have A Bean Coffee and Thornton’s Donuts Noon–2 p.m.: 302 Restaurant (burgers and chicken sandwiches) 3:30 p.m.: Ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Mayor 4–7 p.m.: Kona Ice
Saturday, Apr. 18 — Nonprofit: Cosley Zoo 9–11 a.m.: Activitea Coffee and Thornton’s Donuts Noon–2 p.m.: Billy Bricks Pizza 4–7 p.m.: Moo Joe’s Ice Cream
Sunday, Apr. 19 — Nonprofit: People’s Resource Center 9–11 a.m.: Activitea Coffee and Thornton’s Donuts Noon–2 p.m.: El Famous Burrito Tacos 4–7 p.m.: High Rollers Cotton Candy
